Bambulete, percussion project

Bambulete is mainly Wolfgang Billmann's solo project, which is computer-generated and takes place virtually on the internet or live in the Mhdb studio, to which it is closely linked

Established in 2010, Bambulete presents the 43 Mhdb songs or standards with German spoken lyrics, but in a largely atonal & percussive style and, except for the voices, entirely computer-generated, however live also with live drums
Bambulete has also performed also live since 2020: Quarantine solo project (Bambulete live, videos)

Mhdb & Bambulete drum sets. Buying a drum kit

What is mostly in the cupboard or on the shelf is hardly used. Therefore, everything is set up at home, also because, as with performances, there is no need to constantly set up and dismantle it. This results in the oversized Mhdb drum set. However, for concerts and sessions outside, it is made smaller and you always have to be prepared to be able to play on any size of this drum kit.
The opposite: only snare, bass drum and hi-hat * *.
Because there were more parts than in the already oversized drum set, the percussive Mhdb drum set was developed.

Cheap instrument brands (January 2025)
- The audience often thinks that only musicians with shiny new instruments play well. Musicians often think that only well-known instrument brands are acceptable for a performance. Regardless of this, as W. B. has tested himself, even very cheap instrument brands sound acceptable, such as Millenium and Fame, so that you might think that expensive brands have been leading you by the nose forever
